Can you smell the smoke? Troy is burning — so lets toss the whole damn thing into the bottomless pit. The #9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish are preparing to take on their biggest rival, the USC Trojans. It’s, of course, a prime time game in South Bend. After decades and decades of afternoon games for this rivalry game inside Notre Dame Stadium, the game has been in prime time ever since Brian Kelly took over in 2010. In a game defined by history and tradition, it appears as if Notre Dame has changed that tradition.
Can they keep a streak? Notre Dame hasn’t beat Southern Cal in three consecutive season since 1999-2001, and Saturday night gives the Irish that opportunity.
