The Notre Dame Fighting Irish published a touching tribute for the departing seniors across their social media platforms on Friday night. In the video, you get a look inside the Notre Dame locker room after the loss to Clemson in the Cotton Bowl. Head coach Brian Kelly said that there weren’t enough “thank-you’s” to ever express his gratitude to the senior class and what they have done for the football program. You also get a quick look back to when the seniors signed with the Irish back in February of 2014 and February of 2015.
We have a long offseason of discussion and debate ahead of us, but no matter where your opinion falls in the spectrum of Notre Dame football fanhood, I think we can take a moment and appreciate everything these young men have done for the University on and off the football field.
Take a look:
What a season, what a ride. Thanks to our @NDFootball seniors for laying the foundation for what's to come. Watch the full CFP journey at UND.com/4ND #GoIrish
