Notre Dame Football: Defensive Tackle, Micah Dew-Treadway To Transfer

MDT will use the graduate transfer rule to play elsewhere.

Micah Dew-Treadway, the 6’4” 300 pound defensive tackle from Bolingbrook, Illinois, will transfer from Notre Dame. Dew-Treadway was a senior this past year, and will look to use the graduate transfer rule to become immediately eligible at his next destination.

Micah arrived in South Bend as a 3 Star project, and developed into a reserve player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He redshirted his freshman season, sat out his sophomore year with a foot injury, and then saw action in 9 games his junior year. MDT got 140 snaps in 11 games this past season and logged two tackles.

Good luck to Micah in the future, and with that Notre Dame degree in hand, he will have every opportunity to be a great success in life.

MDT’s transfer opens up another important scholarship spot for 2019. As it stands now, the Irish are 5 over the 85-man limit.
