How Long Will Kelly Stay at Notre Dame?

Hello Irish Nation,

I think that Kelly will most definitely finish his contract through '22. After that, anything could happen. The stress hasn't gotten to him, for what, 9 freaking years?!?! We could be looking at a guy who's at Notre Dame for 15-20 seasons. I wouldn't be appealed to Kelly being coach for that long. He's been the best guy since Holtz. Plus, for all the Kelly-Haters, who else could we hire, realistically? Chris Petersen? That's one idea on how long Kelly could stay, or the Season of '22 could be the end for him. To add on to those thoughts, I feel like Kelly would be known as the coach (Championship or not) who revived Notre Dame Football. There have been so many pissed off Notre Dame haters as of late and that's a big sign that we're viewed as a powerhouse team again even though no one wants to admit it. He has definitely setup the future coaches of Notre Dame for success. As always, I would love to hear your comments in the thread below.
