GAME THREAD: Notre Dame Fighting Irish VS Wake Forest Demon Deacons

It’s time for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to make a statement. At the beginning of the season, no one would have thought that the game against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons would be the “statement game” that Notre Dame would need to move towards a good season.

That crown was supposed to have been placed on their heads after the win over the Michigan Wolverines, but after two weeks of operating with a sputtering offense and producing close wins... people have lost their minds.

Notre Dame is the #8 ranked team in the country and just about anyone with a voice are picking the Demon Deacons to beat the Irish in Winston-Salem. While that may offened some fans — it should also be a wake up call for the Irish.
