How’d we do last week?
As mentioned last week, I will feature the Most Interesting, Most Wildly Inaccurate, and Most Accurate Takes from the previous week. Here we go!

The first part was actually pretty close, but any reference of Smokin’ Jay Cutty gets the nod in my book. Always have to pay my respects.

This wouldn’t have been that far off if it was Tony Jones Jr., who finished with 174 total yards.
Accurate

Our fearless leader coming in Hot with that cold take.
And now onto the Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
Cold Take
The Irish start hot and then trail off late in the game, only to win in a closer than necessary fashion.
This one makes me sad to say, but it has become the trend. A part of me is hoping that by posting this, I break the curse and the Irish blowout Wake. However, I am now wondering if this is a reverse double jinx. Only time will tell.
Hot Take
Tony Jones Jr. will have over 200 total yards this week.
I was very impressed with Tony Jones Jr. a week ago. He seemed to find his rhythm and was very patient getting through the holes. This confidence will absolutely carry into this week both as a runner and and receiver out of the backfield. I also think a part of him will realize he will need a big week with the return of Dexter Williams next week. Jones was the man last week and will step up even more this week. The clip below demonstrates how dangerous he can be as a pass catcher. Also, Wimbush nails that throw.
