The Notre Dame Fighting Irish find themselves in a familiar spot in this week’s AP Poll. ND are once again ranked #8 after having that same ranking each of the previous two weeks. The same thing happened in this week’s USA Today Coaches Poll.
Here is the full week 4 AP Top 25:

In the top ten, Georgia and Clemson trade the #2 and #3 spots after the Bulldogs blew out Middle Tennessee 49-7. LSU also made a big jump to #6 from #12 after upsetting Auburn, who fell back to #9. Stanford also jumped from #9 to #7 after trouncing FCS foe UC Davis. Wisconsin also fell out of the top ten after losing to BYU at home.
With Stanford making the jump above Notre Dame, we’re in store for a really important game between the two teams on September 29th.
Notre Dame also plays #13 Virginia Tech on October 6th.
