The Notre Dame Fighting Irish got a great start on their 4th of July celebrations. 3 Star wide receiver, Cam Hart, committed to the Irish over offers from the Virginia Tech Hokies, Maryland Terrapins, Duke Blue Devils, and many more.
The 6’3” 190 pound Hart from Olney, Maryland (Good Counsel High School)is the first offensive skill player wide receiver to commit to the 2019 Notre Dame recruiting class. There are very few spots available in this class, and the Irish are in love with what Hart brings as a pass catcher and a playmaker.
This is the 16th commitment for the 2019 class. With open spots becoming scarce, Notre Dame will certainly move forward with more certainty as to who they push towards this class.
Hart will join a wide receiver group that is full of athleticism, youth, and speed. He will fit in, but time will tell if and when he will rise in the ranks. It’s a solid commitment, and could be one of the better “under the radar” commitments Notre Dame has had in a few years.
