The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are have a tough time on the recruiting trail with their running back targets. While only four of the twelve offers are committed elsewhere, maybe only four others are even a possibility. So, the Irish expanded their offer list, and officially offered 4 Star running back Jirehl Brock from Quincy Illinois.
Brock recently stated that he was down to four schools:
He has already made official visits to Northwestern and Minnesota, and has official visits planned for Iowa State (June 18) and Iowa (June 22). That leaves just one remaining official visit, and I think Notre Dame just made things a lot more interesting for Brock and his decision process.
Brock has stated that he wants to make a decision and commit after all of his official visits, and before his senior year begins. Will the Irish get that last official visit? Can the Irish close the gap made by his other top schools?
We should know soon enough.
