Former Notre Dame linebacker and team captain, Greer Martini, will get a chance to prove himself to the NFL. The Green Bay Packers have extended an invitation to Martini for their rookie camp.

The Packers have been an active buyer of former Notre Dame Fighting Irish players this offseason. Green Bay traded the Cleveland Browns for quarterback DeShone Kizer just a few months ago, and then they selected Irish wide receiver, Equanimeous St. Brown in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Martini is a fairly athletic linebacker that specialized stopping the triple-option. He had 191 career tackles during his time at Notre Dame with 75 of them coming last year. He is a good leader and a great teammate.
These rookie camps guarantee nothing, but at least the UDFA gets a chance to shine a bit in front of a NFL team.
