The fomer starting linebacker and capatain for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish signs as an undrafted free agent with the Chicago Bears. Morgan, a native of Chicago, spent four seasons at Notre Dame and was a nice player for the Irish.

Notre Dame fans will always probably remember the frustration of Brian VanGorder NOT playing Morgan as an underclassman - despite his many physical gifts. I will choose to remember him as one of those hard-hitting lunchpail guys that never backed down, and always - always played hard and with class.
