Josh Adams, one of the best running backs for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish over the past couple decades, did not get picked in the 2018 NFL Draft. He sat and waited like so many of us - wondering when his name would get called. When the draft was over, and no one picked Adams, it didn’t take long for him to find a home as an undrafted free agent.
Congrats to my guy Josh Adams on God blessing him with the opportunity to play for his hometown team the Philadelphia eagles. They got a great one in you kid! I love you & can’t wait to see you soar with the eagles. Champions pick champions! This is God’s plan. #Isaiah40:31 pic.twitter.com/w5E5t7C5Yk

Josh Adams is an east Pennsylvania native, and signing with the Philadelphia Eagles might just be the best thing for him.
In many ways, it’s far better to sign as an undrafted free agaent rather than be picked in the 6th or 7th round. This way, a player has more say (obviously) in where he will go, and can look for the best fit to make the team’s roster come August.
Good luck to Josh as he sets out to prove everyone wrong. We already know how tough he is, so we know he will give it everyrhing he has - and then some.
