The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are red hot on the recruiting trail right now. Notre Dame secured 3 commitments for the 2019 class over the weekend, and they added a fourth in four days with a commitment today from 3 Star Offensive Tackle, Andrew Kristofic.

Don’t let the 3 Star rating keep yur joy to a mininum - this is a big time recruit and a big time win for the Irish. The coveted tackle prospect chose the Irish over a, fantastic offer list that included the Ohio State Buckeyes, Clemson Tigers, Wisconsin Badgers, Georgia Bulldogs - and many, many more.
Notre Dame has been in the driver’s seat for a while now, and the fact that Kristofic’s high school quarterback was incoming Irish freshman, Phil Jurkovec, only helped the cause.
Kristofic stated in an interview with 247’s Steve Wiltfong:
“No better school and football combination anywhere close in the country. They are the best by far. Then their o-line room and what they have been able to accomplish with those guys is really impressive.”
With Kristofic, the Irish look to continue to secure one of the best offensive line units in the country for years to come.
This is the 7th commitment for the 2019 class, and just the second on the offensive side of the ball for the Irish. They will continue to push hard for the remainder of the spring, and could possibly be sitting at 9 or 10 commitments by June. They are currently ranked #14 in the 247 Composite Team Rankings.
