The Notre Dame Fighting Irish need another good recruiting class for 2019 to continue the improvements across the roster. They’re doing a good job right now, and just secured the commitment of 4 Star safety Litchfield Ajavon.
100% committed, can’t wait to start a new chapter in my life! pic.twitter.com/aOTMNaovqX

Ajavon comes from Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia. It’s a state that Notre Dame has recently been doing a better job of recruiting, and the Irish are always in need of athletic safeties.
Litchfield plays very physical and does a good job in space as he tackles. He will have to continue to develop as a pass defender, but has all the ability to do so. 247 recently dropped him to a 3 Star (still 4 Star on Composite) but with an entire senior season ahead of him, there is time to change those minds once again.
Ajavon chose the Irish over the Michigan Wolverines, Penn State Nittany Lions, Clemson Tigers, Georgia Bulldogs, and more. He is the fifth commit of the 2019 class, the fourth on defense, and the second defensive back.
