Despite some of the recent downward trends for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and their recrutiing plan for 2019, this upcoming weekend is their opportunity to turn it all around. A total of 9 recruits for the 2019 class will be on campus this weekend, with 6 of them using it as an official visit.
Remember, official visits can now be used in the spring because of the early signing period in December. Although that has changed, recruits can still only have 5 official visits that they can use.

Litchfield Ajavon is a dynamic athlete with an impressive offer list. He is a great fit for the program in multiple ways, and is one of the biggest priorities for this recruiting class.

Kenyatta Watson is another dynamic athlete for the defensive backfield. Watson is another top priority for the Irish and would be the gem of their newly found emphasis in Georgia. Notre Dame is battling the Texas Longhorns for his services.

Nick Henrich has a nice frame for a linebacker and would be another Jack Lamb. Notre Dame doesn’t usually go into Nebraska to recruit, but they like Henrich a lot.

NaNa Osafo-Mensah is one of the biggest prizes the Irish are going after in 2019. He’s also fits an absolute need for Notre Dame as a pass-rusher. Notre Dame is battling the in-state Longhorns, and this is going to be a tough, tough pull.

Osita Ekwonu is a diamond in the rough. He has an excellent frame for a linebacker and displays quite a bit of power. His offer list is impressive, and the North Carolina prospect has no problems leaving home for a school.

Hunter Spears and Jacob Lacey are already committed, but this visit plays a crucial part in securing that commitment up to signing day in December. It also helps in the recruiting effort with others on the same visit.

Colt Ellison is another name on the rise. He’s another Texan that the Irish covet as a pass rusher. His film is solid and personally, I like defensive players that are being recruited by the TCU Horned Frogs.
