It’s all comes down to this for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. One game left to claim the 2017-2018 National Championship. One team left in Notre Dame’s way - the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The path to the title game was incredibly tough and full of obstacles for the Irish. The injuries that happened this year would have crippled most teams, but Muffet McGraw and her talented team clawed and fought there way to get to this point.

The Irish are playing for their first championship since 2001, and their second overall. Since that title year of 2001, Notre Dame has played in four other championship games but came up short each time. The Bulldogs have that same taste in their mouth after losing to South Carolina last year in the title game.
