After an incredible and heart-pounding victory over the Michigan Tech Huskies in the first round of the NCAA Hockey Tournament, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have another tough challenge in front of them.
The Providence College Friars are an old foe of Notre Dame’s, and we should be ready for a tough battle on the ice.

Notre Dame is still running on the juice of bitter disappointment after last year’s loss in the Frozen Four championship game, and is starting to have a “team of destiny” feel to them. They are now the de facto #1 seed after the Air Force Falcons upset St. Cloud State. The final pieces are coming together.
