Quenton Nelson, the best offensive line prospect in the NFL Draft will not be running in the 40 yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.
"He's not particularly happy. He said while he was warming up for the 40, he tweaked his hamstring so he can't open up. ... He now said he'll do everything but the 40, so we'll keep our eye on that." - @nflnetwork on Quenton Nelson. #NDFB

Nelson will be participating in the rest of the drills at the Combine. Quenton tweaked something in warming up for his run, and decided that he would hold off as to not risk making it worse.
This is a bit of a disappointment as the best guard and best tackle in the NFL Draft according to Mike Mayock are the pair of Notre Dame Fighting Irish maulers in Nelson and McGlinchey.

He plants them into the ground and they grow into 80s.
Nelson put up an impressive 35 reps in the bench press yesterday. Like McGlinchey, Nelson will most likely run his 40 at Notre Dame's pro day.
