Luke Jones may be one of the most forgotten about recruits in this 2018 class for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. While Notre Dame was busy signing 20 guys on that first day of the early signing period, and hustling to get Braden Lenzy to sign as well... a big, brawler of an offensive lineman was waiting in the weeds - or something like that.

Notre Dame worked on Jones and got him to flip his commitment from the Arkansas Razorbacks to the Fighting Irish.
At the time it was a big win for Notre Dame and for Harry Hiestand. A month later, things have changed drastically, but the Irish were still able to lock Jones up for a letter of intent to attend Notre Dame.
Jones has a great frame to work with, and is versatile enough to play multiple positions along the offensive line. Jones, of course, won’t be expected to contribute right away as most freshman offensive linemen are redshirted and allowed to develop physically before they are cast out to the wolves. And that’s just fine.
There is some good talent here with Jones, and if coached properly, he could develop into a 2 year starter for the Irish down the road.
Basically, just think of this as an a Bitcoin investment for the future.
WELCOME TO NOTRE DAME LUKE!
