Right from the tip, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish came out hot against the Boston College Eagles. Matt Farrell had himself a first half. He had his worst game of his career against North Carolina last Monday night. He was due for a comeback type of game.
The senior point guard set the tone right away and the rest of the team followed. It is amazing how well this team can play offense when Matt Farrell is leading the charge. The largest lead the Irish had in the first half was 20. It ended up being 46-30 Notre Dame leading at halftime with Matt Farrell pitching in an astounding 26 points. He was 8-8 from behind the arc!

The second half started with Notre Dame getting hot again. They added to their lead and extended it to 23 points. The Boston College Eagles would not go down quietly. They fought their way back and cut the game to 9 but that was as close as they would get.
Notre Dame got a nice 2nd half contribution from Nikola Djogo. Matt Farrell was sensational once again in this half and finished with a game and career high 37 points. The Irish finished the game on an 11-1 run to win at Boston College by a score of 84-67.
Notre Dame improves to 16-11 and 6-8 in the ACC.
