It’s the mini-intersectional rivalry that no one really talks about anymore... the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the UCLA Bruins. There’s a lot of history here as the two schools have played 48 times with the Bruins leading the series, 28-20.
Hey now... that record is nothing to scoff about. UCLA is one of the blue-bloods of the sport, and Notre Dame’s 20 wins over them are the most of any non-conference UCLA opponent.
The Irish are in it to win it, and they’ll have to do it with some late night flavor. Both schools are a bit young, and they both bring a 6-2 record int to the game — SO LET’S PAC-12 AFTER DARK THIS THING ROUNDBALL STYLE!

How much does the @NDmbb - UCLA rivalry mean?

For one legendary player (also the ESPN2 analyst tonight) just one loss still sticks with him to this day. @BillWalton remembers Jan. 19, 1974 pic.twitter.com/1WXExsJpXX
