Victory is mine, victory is mine. Great day in the morning, people, victory is mine. I drink from the keg of glory, Donna. Bring me the finest muffins and bagels in all the land.
WELCOME to a victorious Bagpipe Monday on One Foot Down. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are officially in the college football playoff, and will face the Clemson Tigers in the Cotton Bowl. It’s pretty much what we thought was going to happen — right?
Notre Dame kicked a can of gasoline into the media fire with the way they played against USC. Never mind that the Irish were up two touchdowns until the last few minutes, had traveled close to 10,000 miles in the weeks leading up to the game, or that it’s a rivalry game. Never mind all that because no one seemed to care — winning wasn’t enough.
AND IT DOESN’T MATTER!
Despite all of the active campaigning against the Irish, the committee kept them at #3. So how ya feeling about that?
I don’t really have anything more for you in this article — it’s just a really long-winded survey. I’d like to know and understand where you are as a fanbase. Is the current situation everything you had hoped it would be, or was there something more (how) that you required to be happy? Maybe the season surprised the crap out of you, and you’re happily eating crow?
What is your level of feels right now?

Let us know your general feelings (or you can be specific as you want). The poll is basically a scale, but you spin the tale.
Please enjoy the pipes (which is substituted by the first random ND highlight video)!
