Unlike the 2015 contest between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Clemson Tigers, the weather will not play a factor in how the game is played. AT&T Stadium has a retractable roof, and the roof will be closed as the Irish and Tigers play the college football playoff semi-final in the Cotton Bowl.
Weather, is however, pretty important to the many that will travel to the game and all of their pregame tailgating festivities. Here’s the outlook for Saturday in Arlington, Texas:

The morning hours will go from just above freezing to a peak of about 43 degrees an hour before the game. No rain is in the forecast, but there will be considerable cloudiness — for that blue-gray feeling. So, basically, this game will have all of the charm of an overcast day in South Bend in October, but you can walk away from it all as you step into Jerry’s World.
