On conference championship weekend, #1 Alabama snuck away with a win over #4 Georgia in the SEC Championship game. That keeps the Tide in the top spot and Bulldogs drop a bit. Oklahoma downed Texas by 12 to get themselves into the playoff. Clemson had no trouble against Pitt in the ACC championship game. Put all that together and that’s how we got here.
Here’s the complete T.V. schedule for the semifinal games:
Semifinal #1 - Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic - AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas
4 p.m. or 8 p.m. ET on ESPN on December 29th
Semifinal #2 - Capital One Orange Bowl - Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida
4 p.m. or 8 p.m. ET on ESPN on December 29th
College Football Playoff National Championship - Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California
8 p.m. ET on ESPN on January 7th
