As the post season rolls on, and we get ready for bowl season... the awards and All-America lists are flying from every direction. The FWAA released their All-America team, and cornerback Julian Love is once again a first team selection.
Love wasn’t alone on the list for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Center and captain, Sam Mustipher made the the All-America list as a second team center. It is the first All-America team the senior center has made this season.

This makes it 3 for 3 for Julian Love so far. There are five All-America teams that are used for the titles of “Consensus” and “Unanimous.” Love is now a Consensus All-American, and only needs two more to complete the cycle for Unanimous.
The 5?
- Walter Camp... 1st Team
- AP... 1st Team
- FWAA... 1st Team
- Sporting News... ???
- AFCA... ???
Congratulations to both Julian Love and Sam Mustipher on their selections as All-Americans.
