As was rumored about 3 weeks ago, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will wear green jerseys for their game Saturday against the Florida State Seminoles.
This is still a bit flimsy — but not really, because it’s FILMSY. Notre Dame released this social media post:
For our seniors...#GoIrish ☘️ #BeatSeminoles pic.twitter.com/wJDElNfPg4

It’s a pro move. This is the 25th anniversary of both the Game of the Century against the Noles, and the release of the Movie Rudy. This video pays homage to that in a pretty dope way.
No matter how you may feel about the green jerseys, I’ve had multiple sources now confirm that this was something the seniors DID want, and it’s not just a marketing scheme (although ND likes money too).
If there wasn’t enough going on with this game, you now have more — SO MUCH MORE.
