The #3 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish seem to be poking the football gods a bit this week as they get set to play the #12 ranked Syracuse Orange. Many of us last winter struggled to understand why the Irish changed a home game to a neutral site game for a Shamrock Series matchup (in November no less) as it seemed detrimental to WINNING — which is what’s actually important to pretty much everybody.
It was a serious issue all spring and summer... and then something worse happend. The Irish and Under Armour unveiled the Shamrock Series uniforms.
All of this weirdness is happening and the Irish are 2 games away from making the college football playoff for the first time ever. [whispers: and Syracuse is kind of good].
We have work to do, so getting into another fashion meltdown is off of the radar (for now). Follow along this week with everything SHAMROCK SERIES in the thread below. And yes... it’s getting out of hand.
