After a week where there weren’t many notable upsets throughout the world of college football, the latest College Football Playoff rankings were released on Tuesday evening. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are still at the same spot they were last week at #3 behind Alabama and Clemson. In fact, for the first time since the first CFP rankings, the entire top ten is exactly the same as last week’s.

The Irish now head to New York City for the latest game in the Shamrock Series against #12 Syracuse. That game is set for 2:30 Pm ET at Yankee Stadium on November 17th
The postseason will be here before we’ve even cleared all the Thanksgiving leftovers out of the fridge. Here’s what the Playoff schedule looks like:
Semifinal #1 - Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic - AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas
4 p.m. or 8 p.m. ET on ESPN on December 29th
Semifinal #2 - Capital One Orange Bowl - Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida
4 p.m. or 8 p.m. ET on ESPN on December 29th
College Football Playoff National Championship - Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California
8 p.m. ET on ESPN on January 7th
With just two weeks left of the regular season, the Irish can’t afford a mistake if they hope to stay where they are in the playoff picture.
