Notre Dame Remains At #3 In Week 12 Coaches Poll and AP Poll

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish reached double-digit wins over the weekend achieving their tenth victory of the season against the Florida State Seminoles. That win was convincing enough to keep them ranked third in both the USA Today Coaches Poll and the AP Poll this week.

Here’s the complete week 12 Coaches Poll:

No changes to the top six this week as each team in that group won their respective games. West Virginia and Ohio State flipped the #7 and #8 positions. Wazzu and LSU round out the top ten. Syracuse moves up one spot from #12 to #13 after putting up fifty points on Louisville.

The top seven are all the same from last week here. Washington State does move up two spots, however, to #8 after a blowout win over Colorado. Like the Coaches Poll, Syracuse are up to #12 here. Ohio State are down to #9 this week.

Next week, the Irish head to Yankee Stadium for an important matchup against the #12 Syracuse Orange. Opening kick for that game is set for 2:30 PM ET on the 17th.

College Football Playoff rankings will be released Tuesday night.
