The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are currently 21 point favorites in their Saturday home game against the Pittsburgh Panthers (3-3), according to oddsmakers.

The over/under, or the predicted number of points oddsmakers believe will be scored in the game by both teams combined, is 57. That suggests a 39-18 Irish win.

The OddsShark computer is predicting a tighter result, with the Irish prevailing 32.6 to 21.9. That means bettors holding tickets for Notre Dame on the moneyline, Pittsburgh against the spread and the under would cash.

CHAMPIONSHIP ODDS

The Irish improved their odds at Westgate Superbook to 8-to-1 following their beatdown of the Virginia Tech Hokies. Notre Dame now has an 11.11 percent implied probability of winning the championship, according to the professionals. (The Alabama Crimson Tide are at 69 percent implied probability, in case you were wondering.)

HEISMAN ODDS

I hope you got Dwayne Haskins at 25-to-1, because the Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback is the only person I can see winning the Heisman Trophy besides Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa.

It’s Tua’s world right now, though, and we’re just living in it.

You can still place action on Notre Dame’s Brandon Wimbush or Jafar Armstrong, according to The Action Network. Wimbush, three weeks into his benching, is at 2000-to-1 odds. Armstrong, two weeks into the knee infection that has sidelined him, is still at 300-to-1.

The strongest candidate among Notre Dame’s opponents is still the Stanford Cardinal’s Bryce Love at 100-to-1, although he’s now missed two games.
