The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are a national football program, and to be competitive every year, they must recruit coast to coast. Regardless of the year, there’s a general pattern to Notre Dame football recruiting.
Flip through the years to take a look at what’s been going on for almost a decade now. With that said, there is a very noticeable difference in Florida recruiting for the 2019 class — like there aren’t any in the 2019 class. Brian Kelly and the Notre Dame staff made a conscious decision to deemphasize Florida (a state that has provided the most amount of recruits during this time span).
