The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are the Citrus Bowl champs thanks to an amazing catch and run for a touchdown from Irish wide receiver, Miles Boykin. That score helped put the Irish ahead 21-17 late in the game, and the defense held beautifully.
What was brought to light in the post game press conference is that:
- Miles Boykin dreamt about winning the MVP
- Brian Kelly told Boykin he was going to win it
- Ian Book told Boykin he was going to win it
That's a pretty good fortune for a guy that got lost a bit in the shuffle all season.
