We are under an hour before the big game between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Georgia Bulldogs, and the atmosphere is everything you could ever hope for in a college football game.
A lot has been made about the amount of Georgia fans that are “Occupying Notre Dame” and some have brushed it off, while others have been blown away at the immensity of it all. Folks - the Georgia invasion is real.
To top it off, two hours before game time, I witnessed the sale of two tickets from a Notre Dame fan to Georgia fans... AT FREAKING FACE VALUE. Like - c’mon bro, that’s just horrible.
UGH UGH UGH.
Other than all of that, Notre Dame fans are pumped for this game. Duh, right? Seriously though, big games have felt like a rare occurrence over the years in South Bend, and tonight is a big ass big game.
I have altered my game prediction slightly, and now have the Irish winning 31-20 (or something like that). I feel that Notre Dame’s biggest strength (offensive line) will outplay Georgia’s biggest strength (defensive front 7) and when you add that to the quarterback comparison (Brandon Wimbush vs Jake Fromm) I think that put the Irish in position to win with a “comfortable” margin.
Don’t yell at me when I’m wrong in 3 hours.
That’s all for now. GO IRISH!
