Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football: Georgia Bulldogs Week

Follow along all week as we look at the Irish versus the Bulldogs.

College football is indeed back after a really fun week one, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are a part of that fun. The Irish are 1-0 after a strong win over the Temple Owls, 49-14.

Notre Dame rushed for over 400 yards in the debut of:

  • QB Brandon Wimbush
  • DC Mike Elko
  • OC Chip Long
  • STC Brian Polian
  • I Formation

And many others.

This week is an entirely different and much more difficult task as the Georgia Bulldogs step over the Mason-Dixon line for the first time since 1965. The Dogs are without starting quarterback Jacob Eason after suffering an injury against Appalachian State, but they still have Nick Chubb, Sony Michel, and a strong defense.
