Weather Report for Notre Dame vs. Miami University Football Game Saturday in South Bend

Nice, sunny, clear skies. Perfect fall football weather.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Miami-Ohio RedHawks will kick off at 5 p.m. Saturday under clear skies and amidst pleasant 65 degree temperatures, according to the latest Accuweather forecast.

After enduring more than a week of 80-degree-plus temperatures, the fall weather has finally arrived in South Bend. The high Saturday is 67 degrees Fahrenheit, while the low will be 42 degrees.

If you are going to tailgate before the game, please bring a jacket and some long pants. The temperature when the lots open at 7 a.m. will be a chilly 42 degrees! The weather will be a far more reasonable 57 degrees by 11 a.m., so you may want to make tailgating into a six hour affair instead of a 10-hour ordeal.

There is absolutely no rain forecasted.

The sun will set at 7:29 p.m. — probably sometime in the third quarter — but the temperature when you exit the stadium is still supposed to be around 55 degrees.

Basically, this is supposed to be pretty normal Sept. 30 weather for South Bend. Last year’s highs and lows? 65 degrees and 58 degrees, respectively.

Had this game been played in Oxford, Ohio — which is where Miami University is located — the temperatures would be pretty similar. It’s supposed to be 67 degrees at kickoff there.
