Deon McIntosh finds himself listed on the depth chart after filling in due to injuries and receiving the most carries against Michigan State. Having delivered a touchdown, McIntosh has proven he belongs in the conversation at running back. Brian Kelly did state, however, that Tony Jones Jr. should be able to go Saturday, after sitting out against Michigan State with an ankle injury.

The defensive depth chart remains unchanged from one week ago. The defense was opportunistic against the Spartans, as we’ve covered extensively, and has played well for the most part this season. The surprise unit of the fall for the Irish is working so far, and if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.

The special teams depth chart has C.J. Sanders and Tony Jones Jr. back to receive kicks, assuming Jones can go Saturday. Kickers, holders, and punt returners are all the same as last week.
The Fighting Irish should have the talent advantage across the board against the RedHawks, but these coaches know each other very well. It will be very interesting to watch for any in-game tweaks or surprises from the two head coaches.
