1. Drue Tranquill - Rover - Senior

Tranquill has quickly turned into one of my favorite guys on the Notre Dame team. He’s the definition of a gamer. No nonsense, just put your head down and do your job. And by all accounts he’s a great leader.
I think Tranquill will play a huge part in trying to stop Michigan State’s running attack tomorrow, specifically keeping tabs on quarterback Brian Lewerke. Give me double-digit tackles for the Irish captain, and a few for a loss.
2. Brandon Wimbush - QB - Junior

If Notre Dame is to come away with a victory on Saturday night, Wimbush will need to up his game — most notably his passing game. I know his first three performances have been lackluster to say the least, and they give no indication to say he will turn it around. That said, Wimbush is just too talented and possesses to good of an arm to keep playing like this. It’s going to click for him and there is no better time for that than Saturday night in East Lansing.
3. Equanimeous St. Brown - WR - Junior

This pick is a byproduct of my Wimbush pick. If Wimbush starts throwing the ball more efficiently and effectively, it’s going to mean good things for guys like St. Brown. Unlike most other years, Michigan State doesn’t have the difference makers in the secondary that we are accustomed to seeing. St. Brown should be an advantage Notre Dame should try to exploit early and often. A few early completions to St. Brown could help Wimbush settle into a rhythm.
