The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are continuing to have their way with the Temple Owls’ defense. At the end of the first quarter, it’s Irish 21-3.
Tight end Nic Weishar scored his first career touchdown — the Irish’s third of the day — when he snagged a 12-yard strike from quarterback Brandon Wimbush. The previous play, junior running back Josh Adams rumbled for 60 yards. Adams broke an arm tackle and found daylight until he was finally run out of bounds.
