Notre Dame Football: Weather Report For Saturday’s Game Versus Temple

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Temple Owls will kickoff under sunny, clear skies at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the latest Accuweather forecast.

Sunblock is advisable, as only nine percent of the sky will be covered in clouds. The RealFeel temperature will be 82 degrees Fahrenheit, with a slight wind coming from the northeast.

Fans in the stands will feel slight relief as the game progresses. The temperature is expected to drop from 75 degrees to 69 degrees (nice) by the end of the game, while the RealFeel will drop from 82 degrees to 66 degrees.

Temperature-wise, this game will feel very similar to the last time the Owls visited Notre Dame Stadium. The temperature on Aug. 31, 2013 was 75 degrees and partly cloudy, with five mph winds from the northwest. The Irish prevailed that day, 28-6, in front of a sold out crowd.

At this point, this is just a 3 percent chance of rain at any point around Notre Dame. Humidity will also be comfortable for our bodies - 53 percent.

If you’re going to tailgate before the game, you’re going to want to layer. The temperature at 7 a.m. — when the lots open — will be just 46 degrees. It will be a much more comfortable 59 degrees by 10 a.m. and 68 degrees by noon.
