Notre Dame Honors Ara

As most of you know by now, legendary Notre Dame football coach Ara Parseghian passed away yesterday at the age of 94. Also, this is the first season we’ll see a video board at Notre Dame Stadium. The public saw the board in use for the first time on Wednesday night, as it lit up with “ARA”. Honestly, there wasn’t a better way to fire the thing up than with a tribute to Parseghian.

This is another cool tribute that the football team will pay to Parseghian during the 2017 season. Though, an even better tribute would be to play like his teams played.

Another Ara story to check out

There were a ton of stories written about Parseghian yesterday, and deservedly so. This one in the link above by Terance Moore was one that stood out to me. It really captured just how great of a person Parseghian was. If you get the chance, give it a read.

Tough break for Will Fuller

Former Notre Dame standout wide receiver, Will Fuller, was dealt a bit of bad news on Wednesday as it became known that he broke his collarbone. According to the Houston Chronicle, Fuller will undergo surgery and will be sidelined 2-3 months. The second-year wideout experienced an up-and-down rookie season in 2016. He caught 47 passes (6th among rookies) for 611 yards (3rd among rookies), but was hampered by drops and poor quarterback play.
