The accolades for two of the best players the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will field this year just keep piling up - like a fresh stack of pancakes.

Quenton Nelson was named to the first team as a guard, and Mike McGlinchey was named to the second team as a tackle. Both players have been receiving a lot of love this preseason, and with the (supposed) new emphasis on the running game and returning running back Josh Adams, the Irish should do a lot of damage on the left side of the field.
- Bleacher Report just listed their top 100 players for 2017. Mike McGlinchey came in at #88 while Quenton Nelson was ranked #17.
