The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are down another player for the upcoming season. Tight End Tyler Luatua is medically disqualified.
Notre Dame football’s Director of Media relations, Michael Bertsch, released the news Wednesday afternoon, along with a statement from Dick Corbett Head Coach Brian Kelly.

Many will remember that Luatua had planned on transferring to BYU after last year, but had a change of heart and returned to the Irish.
Tyler was a four star prospect coming out of high school in California, but never really was able to put it all together at Notre Dame. He was my only hope for any use of a fullback type of player.
The Irish are, and will continue to be, loaded at tight end. The most important part about all of this is the health of Tyler (I am unsure as to what the particular ailment is at this time) and that he will get his degree from the University of Notre Dame.
Good Luck Tyler!
