Notre Dame Hockey: How To Watch The Irish VS Denver In The Frozen Four

Notre Dame is all set to play for a NCAA Championship in the Frozen Four.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish hockey team is ready to find out if they are a championship team tonight as they face off against the Denver Pioneers in the Frozen Four.

The Irish were sent off by their fellow students at Notre Dame and headed to Chicago.

Against Who?

Notre Dame will play the University of Denver Pioneers. Denver’s head coach Jim Montgomery just won the national head coach of the year, and the Pioneers are the #1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Notre Dame knocked off the number 4 overall seed, the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the first round 3-2.

IRISH WIN!! Final score Notre Dame 3 Minnesota 2 ND advances to Regional Final tomorrow versus UMass Lowell at 3:30 p.m. on ESPNU, with a spot in the Frozen Four on the line.

The Irish then beat a current thorn in their side, UMass-Lowell 3-2 in an exciting overtime victory.

And so... here we are. Notre Dame is in their third Frozen Four over the past 10 years- which are the only three time they have got this far. All three have been lead by Irish coach Jeff Jackson. Only two other schools have been to as many in the past decade (Boston College Eagles and North Dakota).
