HELP WANTED! One Foot Down Is Looking To Expand And Needs Your Help

Help shape the conversation about Notre Dame athletics on the internet.

We're #1 Moses
Julie Hauenstein

Hello friends! We here at One Foot Down, have been working hard to provide our community with the best Notre Dame Fighting Irish coverage possible. Over the past 9 months, the site has underwent a tremendous amount of change, but through it all, we are thriving and looking to expand.

Currently, we have positions open for a wide range of talents:

  • Graphic design
  • Video creation
  • Writers
  • Bass player

Graphic Design

We have needs. Pictorial needs, and we are most eager to find one or more persons to help us create a more “colorful” world here. So, if you love to photoshop, draw, or whatever else one does to create still images of worth, we’d love to hear from you.

Video Creator

There is a pressing demand for more original video content, and we are looking for someone to be able to do the things we can’t (which is pretty much everything). These videos could be as short as a minute, or as long as the unedited version of The Godfather (although we don’t recommend it).

We all love Notre Dame football- and that’s fantastic, but did you know the University has many other athletic teams? We are looking to bring on at least two new writers and will be giving special treatment to those that would want to write primarily about sports such as:

  • baseball
  • hockey
  • tennis
  • lacrosse
  • soccer
  • women’s basketball
  • etc.

While we won’t turn away a talented writer if they want to write about football or basketball, we really are looking to expand our coverage.

You want to? OH JOY!

If any of this intrigues you, please contact me via email at

Be prepared to answer a few questions (easy ones) and possibly provide a writing example/ image/ video from your own vault, another website, or something new that you just made because we asked you to.

I look forward to hearing from you and as always... GO IRISH!
