Notre Dame Football Recruiting: 2018 Player Rankings By Recruiting Service

Saying that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are off to a hot start with the 2018 class before we even get to March, is both old news and fantastic news. Things look pretty good right now, and according to most of the recruiting services, the Irish have the #2 ranked class as of right now.

We, of course, here at One Foot Down have done our best to cover the class, but we have been more narrow in our focus when it comes to the rankings. Unofficially, the official rankings that we use are the 247 Sports Composite rankings. It’s a nice formula that takes in a lot more info and therefore may be a bit more accurate.

Having said that, we should also allow for the differences that the services have in their rankings in regards to these prospects. Below is the chart for the committed prospects and their ranking according to 247, Scout, Rivals, and ESPN. We will have this chart pinned to the top of the Recruiting Hub here at OFD, and it will be updated regularly. Although only the ESPN ranking has an overall ranking number, check back down the road and each prospect will have their ranking by each service updated.
