Early Signing Period: 3 Star Cornerback Tariq Bracy To Notre Dame

Filling up on athletes and corners...

It seemed like a struggle for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to find cornerbacks for the 2018 class before December rolled around, but with the commitment of Tariq Bracy, it all started to come together.

Bracy had been a big priority for the Irish for a long time, but with his brother heading to play for the San Diego State Aztecs, Tariq had some decisions to make. Luckily for the Irish, Tariq's brother told him to go after his dream in South Bend instead of heading to San Diego.

Bracy is another in this class that, although labeled and ranked as a three star prospect, gets a much higher grade from Mike Elko and the Notre Dame coaching staff. His superior athleticism and speed will quickly enhance what the Irish have on campus right now.

Bracy chose the Irish over the Aztecs, Utah Utes, Boise State Broncos, and Washington State Cougars. He will join what looks to be a very good defensive back haul for the Irish in 2018, and push for playing time somewhere on the field.
