Notre Dame Football Recruiting: 3 Star Tight End Tommy Tremble Commits To The Irish

Notre Dame got an early Christmas present, and it was an athletic tight end from Georgia.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish finally got its man, when 3 Star tight end Tommy Tremble committed to the Irish at his high school in Norcross, Georgia. It was a commitment a long time in the making, and a testament to the hard work that the Irish coaching staff put in to win Tommy over.

Tremble was supposed to have been a summer commitment, but as summer passed, people thought he would pull the trigger in the early fall. None of that happened. To Tremble’s credit, he decided that the best course of action was to keep an open mind and an open recruitment. He also played things very close to the vest, so no one really knew how he was playing things out.

Tremble chose the Irish over the in-state Georgia Bulldogs, Michigan Wolverines, and UCLA Bruins. He is the 20th commitment for Notre Dame’s 2018 class, and the second tight end in that class.
