Just Win, Baby

The College Football Playoff rankings were just revealed for the second week of the rankings. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish stay in that number 3 spot after winning last week. The committee obviously favors winning and consistency, so we have that going for us so far. They also did not change the Top 4 from the first release of the rankings last week. So, before the Irish are the Georgia Bulldogs then the Alabama Crimson Tide, us, and the Clemson Tigers at number 4.

Here’s the rest of the committee’s Top 25:

Rankings of Note

Georgia still stays at number 1, seemingly validating us and them. The USC Trojans and the Michigan State Spartans are 11 and 12, respectively. Former opponent the N.C. State Wolfpack stay in the Top 25 at number 23 after losing to Clemson.

And, of course, the Miami-Florida Hurricanes, our opponent for Saturday night, is now number 7. It’s going to be 3 vs. 7 in Miami Gardens, FL. It’s going old school, late 80s on Saturday night.

Keep on #33Trucking through the schedule, as the committee has showed us.
