The Westgate Superbook, which bills itself as the “world’s largest race and sports book,” considers Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Josh Adams to be an 8-to-1 favorite to win the Heisman Trophy.

Adams’ quarterback, Brandon Wimbush, is a 100-to-1 shot.

The sportsbook also offers odds on Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield, Penn State Nittany Lions running back Saquon Barkley, Stanford Cardinal running back Bryce Love, Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback J.T. Barrett, Louisville Cardinals quarterback Lamar Jackson, Oklahoma State Cowboys quarterback Mason Rudolph, USC Trojans quarterback Sam Darnold and Washington State Cougars quarterback Luke Falk.

Adams rushed just five times for 22 yards against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Saturday. Coach Brian Kelly has indicated Adams did not suffer a concussion, but wasn’t feeling well during the week. He’s expected to be full strength for Saturday.

Mayfield, the new favorite, completed 24 of 36 passes for 598 yards and five touchdowns against Oklahoma State in a matchup of Top 15 teams.

CHAMPIONSHIP ODDS

The Irish have improved from 12-to-1 favorites in Westgate’s book. They are now given 7-to-1 odds to win it all. Ahead of them: the Alabama Crimson Tide (5-to-8); Clemson Tigers (6-to-1) and Georgia Bulldogs (6-1).

The Irish’s opponent this week — the undefeated Miami Hurricanes — are 15-to-1 favorites to win it all.
