The 14th ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish are set to start the season against longtime foe, the DePaul Blue Demons, inside Wintrust Arena at 4:00 in Chicago, Illinois. Expectations are extremely high this season as Mike Brey and the Irish continue to improve upon their legacy in what has become a new golden age of Notre Dame basketball.
The Irish have one of the best players in the entire country in All-American, Bonzie Colson. Colson is a candidate to win the Naismith Award. With Colson and Top 100 player, Matt Farrell, many believe that this could be the season that the Irish finally return to the NCAA Final Four.
So... today is kind of important. Notre Dame will look to get off to a great start with a solid win over DePaul.
The Irish will also wear a new set of uniforms

The new uniforms are of a similar concept as to what the Notre Dame football team wore against the Ourdue Boilermakers in the 2012 Shamrock Series game.
